The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation provides resources and opportunities for underserved youth. We team with Boys & Girls Clubs and Communities in Schools, two organizations that are personally close to Shaquille, to help achieve this mission. Our work is primarily focused in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation receives funding from individual donors, partner gifts, Founders Council members, and The Event, an annual large-scale fundraising gala held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Yes, The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation is a 501c3 organization. Donors may deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170.

At the current time, The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation does not accept unsolicited funding requests.

No, the Foundation’s funding guidelines do not allow us to grant funds directly to individuals. Our giving is done through non-profit partners and other organizations. While the Foundation may provide shoes, clothing and supplies to groups, through programs like Shaq-a-Claus and Shaq-to-School for example, we are unable to do so on a one-on-one basis.
