  • The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation provides resources and opportunities for underserved youth. We team with Boys & Girls Clubs and Communities in Schools, two organizations that are personally close to Shaquille, to help achieve this mission. Our work is primarily focused in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

  • The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation receives funding from individual donors, partner gifts, Founders Council members, and The Event, an annual large-scale fundraising gala held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • Yes, The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation is a 501c3 organization. Donors may deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170.

  • At the current time, The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation does not accept unsolicited funding requests.

  • No, the Foundation’s funding guidelines do not allow us to grant funds directly to individuals. Our giving is done through non-profit partners and other organizations. While the Foundation may provide shoes, clothing and supplies to groups, through programs like Shaq-a-Claus and Shaq-to-School for example, we are unable to do so on a one-on-one basis.
